Hotep-Ish Hoodie

The word Hotep means peace.  Its a greeting conscious black people popularized over the last 40 years.  Recently there has been a movement to use the word “hotep” in a derogatory context to talk about black people who are so called “woke”.  Instead of allowing people to corrupt the word we embrace it.  

Hotep-ish is a movement of aware black first minded individuals who embrace our blackness.  Why the “ish” suffix?  Ish is for the black folks that love ourselves but still eat pork, and talk that shit. The Ma’at symbol is there to show balance between the profound and the profane.  We are all both equally peaceful and down with the shits at the same time.
